AOS becomes independently incorporated keeping
an active affiliation with the church. |
AOS launches the "Breaking New Ground
. . . Building on Excellence" capital
campaign. Parents, friends and Houston area foundations
respond with over $5 million.
AOS starts a middle school. A grade level is added
per year, and the middle school, grades five through
eight, are complete. |
AOS kindergarten through fourth grade students
occupy the new Katherine E. Veletsos Lower School
building. |
The Steve G. Caloudas Activity Center is completed
to accommodate
athletic activities and school performances. Parents
and friends once again exceed the $800,000 goal
to raise over $1 million making this long awaited
dream a reality. |
