Applying for Admissions

Application and Teacher Recommendation forms will be available after September 7, 2010
- Turn in application and non-refundable fee so that testing can be scheduled.
- WISC-IV or WPPSI-III (all grades) Note:The OLSAT is not administered by our Admissions Office, but is accepted for admission application in lieu of the WISC-IV; however, the school may require the WISC-IV if more information is needed and will be at the expense of the parent.
- ISEE (grades 5-8, Form provided by Admissions Office for family to schedule independently.)
- Make sure to give the Admissions Office the following to complete the applicant’s profile:
- Transcripts and current report cards
- Teacher recommendation form mailed or faxed directly from the teacher - hand delivered forms cannot be accepted
- Also included in the applicant’s profile are:
- Observations and results from the evaluation process, including the writing sample (grades 1-8) and the interview (grades 5-8).
- Additional pertinent information from previous evaluations, etc.
- Please note that:
- Applicants for preschool through kindergarten must be of appropriate age by July 15th. Children must be toilet trained to be admitted into the early childhood program.
- Applicants for first grade must be six years of age by September 1st and have completed a full day academic kindergarten program.
- All applications received before the deadline will be considered equally regardless of date, although it is strongly recommended that the application and fee be returned to the Admissions Office within two weeks in order to schedule testing in a timely manner.
- Special consideration is given to siblings, legacies, and pledging members of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, if the applicant meets the standards for qualification in the grade level for which he/she completes application.
