| Annunciation Orthodox School is blessed
with supportive parents who care deeply
about the mission of the school and
maintain an active involvement.The AOS
Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) is the coordinating
body for many parent activities. The
organization is composed of elected
officers, parent representatives from
each class, and all interested parents.
One objective of the PTC is to promote
understanding and cooperation among
parents, faculty, students, and school
administration. The second objective
is to enrich our school and curriculum
as suggested by the faculty including
raising funds for wish list items as
teaching aids, playground equipment,
and other capital improvements. PTC
hosts many of the student and family
activities such as the Back-to-School
party, Grandparents and Special Friends
Day, Sports Banquet, Teacher Appreciation,
Parent Education, Olympics, and more.
Each year the PTC raises funds through
various means including, but not limited
to, gift wrap sales, the Annual Gala
and Auction, the Bookfair and Spaghetti
Supper, and PTC dues. The voluntary
efforts in both time and resources are
greatly appreciated. With all of the
contributions and efforts of our parents,
AOS continues to be enriched. |
