The mission of AOS athletics is to nurture the whole person—the spiritual, the mental, the emotional, and the physical. Student-athletes are encouraged to try any and all sports as long as they are committed to work as a team member and attend practice and games.

4th Grade Creates Trading Cards

In honor of Black History Month, 4th-grade students learned about a number of distinguished African Americans, from Michelle Obama and Bill Pickett to Simone Biles and Malcolm X. As part of their learning, each student created a “trading card” to make up a very special deck of inspirational individuals.
