The mission of AOS athletics is to nurture the whole person—the spiritual, the mental, the emotional, and the physical. Student-athletes are encouraged to try any and all sports as long as they are committed to work as a team member and attend practice and games.

5th Grade Inventor Project

Inventive minds were on display in an engaging 5th-grade, cross-curricular inventor project. Students' exploration of the Design Process culminated in digital storytelling using CoSpaces Edu to create important scenes depicting an inventor's path to discovery and the lasting impact of their work. Read more in this AISL article. This project was in collaboration with language arts, science, and library literacy skills classes.
