A New Solar System
Penny Angelo

5th-grade scientists have discovered a HUGE new solar system. Every scientist in Ms. Morgan’s class is banding together to present their findings of 79 unique planets. Currently, each student is in the process of creating a planet to contribute to the collective project. They will present their discovered planet to their classmates via QR code which will be attached to the large, overhead display. Students will include information such as: the planet’s name, climate, land types, seasons, animals, number of moons, and more. Once complete, students will participate in a gallery walk where they can learn more about their classmates’ planets. As students learn from their peers, they will also practice more SEL awareness as they observe others' work and are able to speak to its content.
