Second-grade students became detectives to solve a whodunnit mystery. After studying the reading genre of mystery, students in Mrs. Hamilton-Smith’s class were well-prepared to put their skills to the test. To their surprise, a crime scene appeared in their classroom complete with caution tape, clues, and red herrings! Students examined each piece of evidence to discover which AOS community member went missing and who was responsible for the crime. Students also interviewed suspects and wrote down their findings. To find out how this mystery concluded, you’ll have to check in with a second-grade student!
