Seventh-grade history students enjoyed a visit from a woman named Catherine Sager Pringle. We aren’t quite sure how she managed to time travel from the mid-1800s, but she came to share a firsthand account of her experience on the Oregon Trail. Dressed in a lovely dress and bonnet from the time period, Ms. Pringle learned to use Google Slides to share historical information and photos of her family. She recounted the stories of how she injured her leg in a wagon accident and how she became an orphan when her parents fell ill to camp fever and typhus. Students learned a lot from Ms. Pringle, and some are still wondering how she got to school without a car…
