8th Grade Receives Their Leadership Ties
Penny Angelo

8th-grade students and their Chapel Buddies participated in the annual Tie Ceremony, kickstarting a year of leadership. Fr. Efstratios opened the ceremony with a small chapel service and a reminder for the students’ commitment to excellence. Dr. Fragomeni and Mrs. Haas followed with words of encouragement for our new leaders. Each 8th-grade student received a necktie symbolizing their role as the eldest at AOS and the responsibility they carry to show others what it means to be an upstanding member of our community. As 8th-grade students and their Chapel Buddies processed out of the Caloudas Activity Center, they met the 8th-grade parents on the field for some (very adorable) photos.
