AOS Hosts the 16th Annual Spelling Bee

Thirty students representing the 3rd-8th grades participated in the 16th annual AOS Spelling Bee on Thursday, January 7. Given the current pandemic, the bee was held virtually and over 50% of the students scored a 23/25 or better in the first round. Congratulations to all our students who participated. Our top three winners were:

1st place: Christine A. '22
2nd place: Theron S. '23
3rd place: Henry C. '22

Christine will go on to participate in the Regional Bee, and Theron will be the alternate.
