The mission of AOS athletics is to nurture the whole person—the spiritual, the mental, the emotional, and the physical. Student-athletes are encouraged to try any and all sports as long as they are committed to work as a team member and attend practice and games.

Chapel Buddy Christmas Projects

True to the holiday spirit, Chapel Buddies exchanged some student-created gifts. 7th- and 8th-grade students made “handprint” ornaments for their Chapel Buddies. Both buddies traced their hands, and then the older buddies turned them into decorated ornaments by adding scripture and stringing them together. In turn, the younger buddies sent handmade Christmas cards to their older buddies.
