Conquer the Area!

Students in fourth grade have just learned how to find area and perimeter. To reinforce their understanding, Mr. Flores taught them to play a game called “Conquer the Area!” Students paired up to roll a set of dice to determine the length and width of a rectangle. They then drew it onto graph paper and calculated the area and perimeter. This was a great way to practice their math skills and have fun at the same time!
