We've all felt "hangry," but have you ever felt "fressed” (frustrated and stressed)? Or maybe you've had "mustalgia” (music nostalgia)? This week, fourth-grade students created new words for the myriad of emotions one can feel all at once. Students combined two or more feeling words and created their own word and definition. This idea was adapted from the book The Emotionary by Eden Sher. Students also discussed that all emotions and feelings serve a purpose, give us clues, and help us understand more about each other. What's in YOUR Emotionary?
