The mission of AOS athletics is to nurture the whole person—the spiritual, the mental, the emotional, and the physical. Student-athletes are encouraged to try any and all sports as long as they are committed to work as a team member and attend practice and games.

Kindergarten students watched cake come to life through paint! Mrs. Lamb Larned, artist and AOS parent, shared her love for painting by demonstrating her talent in front of a live audience in Mrs. Ailor's class. She talked to students about her tools and techniques while also taking questions. The class discussed light and dark colors, 3D versus 2D, and even how to clean up! The final still life painting looked good enough to eat and every student enjoyed watching the process.
