Did you know an emperor penguin can be up to four feet tall? That seems like a far cry from the penguins we may have seen at the zoo! Students in PK spent the whole week learning about penguins. They completed a variety of activities to gather information about these adorable creatures. They read books titled The Emperor Egg and Tacky the Penguin, they tried to waddle with an “egg” between their feet, and they even measured themselves against an emperor penguin to see who was taller.
