Science Rocks!

Science Rocks!

Ms. Morgan’s students acted as museum docents this week. They created mini exhibits to showcase a rock or mineral. The 5th-grade science museum included igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic specimens. Each group displayed their specimens and participated in a gallery walk to learn more about each rock and mineral. Students also practiced their SEL skills as they authentically complimented their fellow classmates’ work at each exhibit. This experience allowed students to share their knowledge and build community within the classroom.
