Thanksgiving Food Offering
Jeri Lodato

Each November, AOS invites our community to participate in our annual Thanksgiving Food Offering. Although our school year may look a little different because of COVID-19, we are happy to continue this tradition and help those in need.

On November 19, students came to school laden with canned goods and nonperishable food items from their pantries. Through the help of the Gulf Coast Community Services Association, all of the food collected will be distributed to those Houstonians most in need.

As stated in the Bible in Matthew 25:40, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" Thank you to our families for making this a meaningful beginning to the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
