God created all people, and He created them differently for reasons and purposes we may not understand. Regardless of how we perceive other people to be, they are God's creations, and it is God's will for us to show respect to everyone. Respect is important. We read this in Romans 13: 1-3; 7:

“Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.”
