Athletics

The mission of AOS athletics is to nurture the whole person—the spiritual, the mental, the emotional, and the physical. We position our student-athletes to see beyond the individual and to work together for the greater good.

AOS encourages all students to participate in our athletics program. We have a no-cut policy and have multiple teams of different skill levels to give all of our student-athletes the opportunity to play.

AOS is proud of its championship winning athletics program and of our many graduates who continue to play competitively throughout high school and college. We are a member of the Houston Junior Preparatory Conference which includes The Awty International School, Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, First Baptist Academy, The John Cooper School, The Kinkaid School, Presbyterian School of Houston, River Oaks Baptist School, Second Baptist School, St. Francis Episcopal School, St. John's School, and The Village School.
